A family adventure at the 2024 Olympic Games! 🤝

These Olympic Games were a unique moment for Frédéric Pinet, Member of the Board of Directors of the Groupe Associatif Réunir, and Yann Pellegrin, Chairman of the SCAL group, in charge of transporting accredited persons to the host city of Marseille.

The success of this call for tenders, announced unexpectedly at the annual congress of the Groupe Associatif Réunir in Corsica, has set Réunir and Saybus on the road to the future.

‘It’s extraordinary that Saybus has won the transport tender for the co-host cities of the Olympic Games,’ enthuses Frédéric.

This major event required organisation well in advance, and demanded unfailing flexibility on the part of the driving staff in the face of a constantly changing schedule.

‘The big challenge was to show that we were capable of responding to all requests, including last-minute ones,’ explains Frédéric Pinet.

The team managed to adapt, thanks in particular to the solidarity between the drivers and a close-knit working atmosphere.

But the Olympic Games are also a family affair! Axel Pellegrin, Yann’s seventeen-year-old son, and Valentin Pinet, Frédéric’s son and director of Plattey coaches, have also taken their place behind the wheel to meet the high demands on the ground. Valentin explains:

A great way to start a career in transport with the Games!

What they remember: ‘A very enriching experience, from which we’ll grow’. They emphasise the good team atmosphere and the adaptability of everyone. 👏

The Paris 2024 Olympic Games will remain engraved in the memories of everyone involved in this logistical adventure. ‘The Paris 2024 Olympics is the biggest event I’ve done in my career, and it will remain a great memory,’ says Yann Pellegrin.

For Frédéric Pinet, the Olympics have confirmed that Saybus and Réunir are ready to meet the challenges of the future, and he is optimistic about the years ahead:

For Saybus, this is a real step into the future. We’ve got more surprises in store.
