In the wake of the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, Alexandre Delvallez, Managing Director of Groupe Associatif Réunir, talks to Mobily-cités about the success of this exceptional adventure.
With 34 members mobilised for the Olympic Games and 12 for the Paralympic Games, nearly 2,500 transport services were provided, carrying some 48,000 people, including athletes, referees, media and sponsors. With the support of its Saybus subsidiary, Réunir was able to meet major logistical challenges, in particular the transport of Wheelchair Users (UFR), made possible by a fleet adapted by partner manufacturers.
Our success in managing these two events rests mainly on the flexibility and adaptability of our teams and those of our members.
The results are clear: the meticulous preparation of the Saybus and Réunir teams and their members was a decisive factor in the success of the transport management for this historic and prestigious event.
For Alexandre Delvallez, the experience not only boosted the members’ business and raised their profile internationally, but also demonstrated the expertise of the Réunir group and its Saybus subsidiary, paving the way for new large-scale adventures, such as the 2030 Winter Olympics.
