From June 4 to 6, the Scouts Unitaires de France held a major gathering on the national estate of Chambord. On this occasion, they celebrated the 50th anniversary of the movement, initially planned for last year.
For this event, Saybus coordinated more than 540 coaches, 305 of which were managed by Saybus. All the vehicles mobilized carried some 30,000 passengers from the 4 corners of France.
A unique experience, despite the violent thunderstorms that broke out at 4pm. With the situation under control, the Prefect of Loir-et-Cher decided to implement a safety plan for the 30,000 SUF present at Chambord. While some took refuge in the plains and the château, 250 coaches and drivers were requisitioned to shelter over 10,000 children during the storm.
