It’s official, the Rugby World Cup starts today! This second edition organized by France will take place from September 8 to October 28, 2023. Matches will be played at 9 venues in 10 host cities.
2023 is a special year for rugby… The sport is celebrating the 200th anniversary of an emblematic moment in rugby history. In 1823, William Webb Ellis, a student at Rugby School, made history by inventing the game of rugby in defiance of conventional rules. His daring act of grabbing the ball and running marked the beginning of a fine sporting tradition.
