Lugdunum goes international

Saybus has brought international recognition to the passenger road transport industry by hosting the autumn congress of the Global Passenger Network Association as a member host.

International scope

The Global Passenger Network (GPN) is the leading international organization for road passenger transport. Since its inception in 2006, GPN has worked to achieve one fundamental goal: to be the industry’s leading international premium organization. GPN ensures that every traveler has an optimal experience, both upstream and downstream. The network focuses on quality of service. It guarantees its customers high safety and quality standards in all member countries worldwide. Only the best operators are considered for membership. There are currently 41 members, including Saybus, in France.

The French influence

Since 2019, Saybus has been a French member of the Global Passenger Network Association. A unanimous vote confirmed its integration as the only French service provider within the network. It’s now up to Saybus, the tourism subsidiary of the Réunir network, to bring this French touch to GPN. In other words, French excellence on GPN. The challenge has been met, and Saybus has found a place at the heart of the network’s strategic choices. Saybus sits on three committees: Sales and Marketing Committee, Innovation Committee, and Partnership Committee. Also noteworthy is Alexandre DELVALLEZ, General Manager of the Réunir network and its subsidiaries, as a member of the Board of Directors. The GPN Board of Directors has 9 seats occupied by 9 members from 9 countries. It aims to represent all members and to respond to international issues.

Saybus and GPN enjoy a fruitful commercial, strategic, and relational relationship. And there’s no end in sight, thanks to the post-Covid boom in tourism and the exponential increase in international demand for French products.

Tailor-made planning

In recognition of the excellent relationship between the GPN and France, the latter was selected as the host member for the Fall 2022 Congress. Many topics were discussed. These included environmental issues, crisis management, the driver shortage, and the recovery of the tourism market. A welcome party and gala dinner marked the opening of the annual congress. The following days were filled with visits, meetings, team-building activities, and the discovery of Lyon and French culture. A busy schedule!

Saybus has shown what French hospitality is all about!
